This statue of George Washington stands outside of the Federal Hall
National Memorial on Wall Street. The Federal Hall is the site of George
Washington's inauguration as the first President of the United States.
On these grounds is also where the Bill of Rights was introduced in the First
Congress.
I have been interning here in New York City for several weeks now and I
have had the opportunity to pass this building several times and it is just
amazing to think of the history that happened in this area.
I took this picture of the statue to show everyone Northeast Alabama
Community College. I know many of you appreciate great history like
this.
